Dr. Erica Bolar is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and holds the Certified Addiction Registered Nurse โ Advanced Practice (CARN-AP) credential, recognizing advanced expertise in addiction nursing. She is deeply passionate about addiction medicine and believes that recovery is possible for every person who is willing to take the first step. Dr. Bolar specializes in the treatment of opioid and alcohol use disorders through medication-assisted treatment (MAT), combining evidence-based medicine with compassionate, individualized care. She understands that addiction affects every aspect of a person’s life and is committed to helping patients not only achieve sobriety but also rebuild their health, confidence, relationships, and sense of purpose. Known for her warm, nonjudgmental approach, Dr. Bolar strives to create a safe space where patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their recovery journey. She believes that lasting recovery is built through trust, collaboration, and meeting each patient where they are. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Bolar has served as a nurse educator, mentoring future healthcare professionals and promoting excellence in nursing practice. She remains dedicated to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of evidence-based addiction treatment to provide the highest quality care to her patients. At Lanier Recovery Center, Dr. Bolar works alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered treatment tailored to each individual’s unique goals.
