Vivitrol treatment

Vivitrol binds to opioid receptors in the brain without activating them. This prevents other opioids from producing a euphoric effect and reduces alcohol’s impact on the brain’s reward system. Over time, this helps break the association between substance use and pleasure, allowing the brain to reset and heal.

Important: Clients must be fully detoxed from opioids for 7–14 days before starting Vivitrol to avoid precipitated withdrawal. Our clinical team will assess your readiness and provide support through every stage of the transition.

Vivitrol is ideal for individuals who:
